Great News from the Intel Matching Grants Programme
Mullingar Shamrocks are delighted to announce that our club has benefited to the amount of €9,200 as part of the 2023 Intel Matching Grants Programme.
We thank Ritchie Daly and Gerry Briody for their volunteering efforts on behalf of the club and their diligence in tracking their hours of voluntary effort that secures the valuable funding - for every hour that an Intel employee volunteers, a grant of $10 is paid to the organisation where they give their time.
The Matching Grants programme has been a valuable addition to the club’s finances over the past number of years and thanks to the efforts of Ritchie and Gerry over €70,000 has been awarded to the club from the programme.
Mullingar Shamrocks is just one of 305 organisations located in 23 counties across Ireland that have received over €1.4 in 2023 from the Intel programme.
Director of Public Affairs at Intel Ireland, Sarah Sexton, spoke proudly of the achievements: “At Intel Ireland, we are immensely proud of the impact our Matching Grant programme continues to make on communities across Ireland. By supporting a diverse range of organisations, from charities and schools to sports clubs and social initiatives, we are fulfilling our commitment to corporate social responsibility and making a tangible difference in people's lives. The generosity and dedication of our employees in Ireland, whose volunteering efforts contribute a remarkably large portion to our global grant amount, exemplify the spirit of giving back that defines our company culture. As we celebrate another successful year of giving, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting the communities where we live and work, and look forward to continued collaboration and impact in the years to come.”
