More Referees Needed

Westmeath Ladies Gaa are requesting all clubs to help in recruiting new referees for the 2024 season and to engage in the process to assist the board in running their fixtures programme for 2024. It is imperative that the board recruit, retain and support new referees as Ladies Gaelic football continues to grow.

Westmeath LGFA have organised a Referees Course for February 2024 and request that every Club put forward one potential Referee for this Course.

These volunteers, either male of female, must be over 18 years of age and have not refereed for the LGFA previously.

These referees will be trained to officiate at Underage Games from Under-12 to Minor level.
