Another great morning on the AstroTurf with Na SeamrÓigí. Shay Leavy was a welcome visitor this morning with the Ted Webb Trophy won by Westmeath last Saturday for the first time in the 50 years of the competition. We in Mullingar Shamrocks are proud of the fact that Shay was the captain on this  historic occasion. 

Needless to say the trophy and Shay were in great demand for photo opportunities – who knows that in 10 years time one of the young Na SeamrÓigí will once again hold the trophy as the winning Westmeath captain.  A selection of these pictures can be seen on Mullingar Shamrocks Facebook page

We are well aware in Mullingar Shamrocks the importance of the Na SeamrÓigí initiative – one of the club’s finest interventions. And of course this is only possible because of the wonderful volunteerism of the coaches and coordinator Sinead and we thank them for their massive contribution.
