Best of luck to our senior footballers in tonight's must-not-lose senior football championship match in Kinnegad.

Our recent record against Athlone points towards a very close encounter. We have only played Athlone 4 times in the last 10 years: we drew in the 2016 quarter final and lost the replay; we suffered a 2 point loss in 2017 and reversed the result in 2019 winning by two.
So all points to a close encounter this evening.

The throw-in is at 7.30, the weather forecast says a yellow alert and for both clubs' championship hopes it is a case of a red alert.

Plenty of support is important and remember it is an all-ticket game.
