A Chance for Coaches to Upskill …
Westmeath Coaching and Games Development are putting a big focus on coach education and the upskilling of coaches for 2023. A comprehensive schedule for 2023 between formal coach education and workshops has been planned. There is something in it for everyone from nursery right up to senior level. There will be very little room to add in more coach education courses so clubs are encouraged to make sure to get their coaches to the courses considered important. If clubs have a lot of coaches that need to do the new foundation course which is now called the 'Introduction to Gaelic Games', you can contact Darren Magee directly to discuss options.
The details of the courses and workshops planned for 2023 are attached in the images. Coaches are asked to register for courses through the link below.
The new GAA/LGFA/Camogie player pathway model is also illustrated. All of the courses/workshops are linked to this pathway.
