Under-15 Championship Quarter-Final: Mullingar Shamrocks 4-13 Moate All-Whites 0-8
Shamrocks’ under 15s qualified for the championship semi-final after a hard earned win over a well drilled Moate side in Springfield on Friday evening. A home semi-final versus Garrycastle is their reward.
Shamrocks took early points to establish a four-point cushion and a goal midway through the half ensured a half time advantage. James Ryan, Ben McNamee, Padraig Casey and Criostoir Ormsby were influential figures in the opening stages and Aindreis Opala was also prominent.
Moate had several fine players and made the home side earn their win. Tommy Daly, Ty Masterson and Tommy Idowu were to the fore as the home side ran out winners.
