LGF Minor Championship: Mullingar Shamrocks 5:10 Tyrrellspass 1:08

Congratulations to our minor ladies on a brilliant display of football on Tuesday evening in Tyrrellspass. All players played with skill and speed and settled into game quickly. First half was a display of great defensive play by our back line who prevented many attempts on goal. The team played as a close unit and their fluid passing and support meant they maintained possession for large parts of the first half. This teamwork was reflected in the half time scoreline of 3-4 to 0-5.

Second half started with a Shamrocks goal in the first few minutes. Tyrrellspass came back with a goal and a point shortly afterwards. Our midfielders and forward lines made the most of accurate kick outs from goal and moved ball quickly and kept adding to scoreboard despite lots of good defensive play by opposition.
