It didn’t happen by accident …

The plaudits Mullingar Shamrocks received for the excellence of the Campervan/Camping facilities and the personal attention to our patrons did not happen by accident. It came as a result of the attention to detail, voluntary commitment and wonderful administration delivered by David Nohilly, Garrett Doyle and Debbie Newman who were ably supported in the planning by Oisín Masterson and Ritchie Daly. In the words of chairman, David ‘We didn’t get it perfect, we certainly got it right. We learnt a lot.’David, Garrett, and Debbie put in some stint last week; things would not have run so smoothly without the many who volunteered so readily all week to perform the several tasks that made Springfield a special place to be last week for those attending the Mullingar Fleadh 2022. The welcome (take a bow, Roisín) and smooth administration of the admission process provided an immediate positive impression of Mullingar Shamrocks. We won’t attempt to name the many who volunteered for now as someone will get left out and that would not be fair.

As one of our visitors remarked in a telephone conversation this evening, Shamrocks delivered ‘everything you’d expect and lots more with the people very nice, helpful and we couldn’t ask for better’, with all involved ‘doing it for the common good.’

The Clubhouse Staff …

Our Clubhouse staff, led by bar manager Davy Coyne, delivered the goods in style and worked long hours to keep the show on the road. Thursday night was particularly tough with a packed clubhouse and stretched the staff’s ability to the limit. It goes without saying they were well and truly able for the challenge and their superb work all week helped to create the wonderful atmosphere that made their time in Mullingar Shamrocks an unforgettable one for the patrons.

So to Davy Coyne, Leah Glynn, Aaron Russell, Jagoda Bartosiewicz, Callum Rigney, Brian McGowan, Matthew Siode, Anna and Nadia you have done the club some service.
