Lidl Promotion

All sections of the ladies’ club were represented this morning at the presentation of the winner’s cheque for the Lidl Company’s in-store promotion.  The Mullingar Shamrocks club were the winners of one of the €1, 000 cheques on offer to be used for the promotion of ladies Gaelic football in the club. We understand that the Shamrocks name was on more tickets than any of the other local clubs so many thanks to the members, friends and supporters of Shamrocks who took the time to enter our club in the draw.  This was a very worthwhile promotion by Lidl and a great sponsorship that distributed €500,000 to club’s across the country without the need for supporters to spend thousands of Euro to accumulate tokens to receive a few bits and pieces of gear.  Melek Fagan, Honor McNamara, Sophie and Karen Hegarty, Evelyn and Ruth Keane, Sarah Corroon, Mia and Macey Gilligan, Debbie Newman, Roisin McKnight and Zara Gilligan represented Mullingar Shamrocks at the presentation.
