The Late Brian Reidy
Mullingar Shamrocks members extends their deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Brian Reidy, Beechgrove, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and late of Kilkenny.

Sympathy is extended to Brian’s wife Cepta and to his daughters Elaine, Yvonne and Mary and to his grandchildren Brian, Chloe, Jack, Katie, John, Roisín, Isabel and Tadgh, sons-in-law Paul and Brian, brothers Sean, Liam, Joe, Ger and Dermot and to his extended family and friends. Brian reposes at his home (N91 C2N6) on Tuesday from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm.

Brian’s funeral Mass takes place on Wednesday at 11.00 am in the Cathedral of Christ the King followed by burial in St Andrew's Cemetery, Multyfarnham.

Brian’s grandson also Brian has played lots of football for Mullingar Shamrocks and hurling for Oliver Plunketts. Of course, the late Brian’s father Liam was a member of the Kilkenny team that defeated Cork in the 1947 All-Ireland senior hurling final in what is considered to be one of the greatest finals of all time.
