Mullingar Shamrocks Under-13 Whites complete their league campaign in Delvin
Mullingar Shamrocks’ whites travelled to Delvin on Wednesday evening last to face the home side in their final league game and, on a horrendous night weather wise, emerged victorious. Shamrocks had twenty players on duty and each played their part in an impressive team display. Conor Matthews proved a very able deputy for Tom McCaul between the posts and Killian Hand, MJ Burke, the ultra consistent Cian Treanor and Christian Conway were reliable and disciplined in defence. Shay Leavy’s excellent form continued at midfield and he added some good scores to his efforts while Scott Farrelly covered every blade of grass in another fine display at midfield. Colm Clinton led the attack in style with Evan Nohilly, Darragh Daly and Fionn Ledwith also to the fore.
