Message from Darren Magee for potential Young Whistlers

Subject: Young Whistlers practical session- Go Games blitz

We have organised a Go Games Referee Course in co-operation with the LGFA. The Course is open to anyone who took part in the online or TY courses. In the event that anyone who has not completed either courses is interested in taking part please contact me and we will see if there are any additional spaces. To do the course you must be 16 years of age. We have contacted all those who registered with us to advise this on field course is taking place.

We will have an online refresher on Monday 16th of May from 7.30pm-8.15pm and the course practical will take place in Caulry on the 17th of May we have asked all Referees to be there for 6pm. We will run through the course and give you more details on what is happening on the day of the blitz.

Caulry and Athlone are bringing along boys and girls at U8, U10 and U9 and U11 to enable the young referees the opportunity to referee games. This is an excellent opportunity for these young referees and we would ask Clubs to encourage all their members that have taken the on line or TY Course to take part on the 17th May.
