When Barry Kelly refereed the recent Cork v Wexford All-Ireland hurling qualifier he created a piece of GAA history. This was the fiftieth senior hurling championship match refereed by Barry who became the first hurling referee in the history of the GAA to referee fifty senior hurling championship matches. Dickie Murphy (Wexford) is second on the all-time list with 48 senior matches refereed. Well done Barry
