In a trip that was planned and led by David Cornally a party of 40 under-10s, under-11s and under-12s travelled to Croke Park for the big game on Sunday accompanied by coaches Tony Sheerin, Robbie Boyle and Tom Ormsby. Like the Irish supporters in France they were excellent ambassadors for the club and as far as could be established none suffered from any after effects after being exposed to watching a streaker run across the sacred ground. They had the satisfaction of seeing Westmeath out in a great first-half performance and seeing their clubmates Killian, Denis and Darragh perform with distinction on the day.
