The Under-20 Rugby World Cup kicks off this evening (Tuesday) for Ireland at 5.30 against Wales in Manchester. Lining out in the centre wearing the number 12 jersey will be Shamrocks footballer and Clontarf RFC member, Conor O'Brien (hopefully not ex-footballer, though as Conor's rugby career progresses there is a greater likelihood that this will be the case). We wish Conor the best of luck in what is a tough qualifying group; Wales are 6-Nations champions and New Zealand is next on the agenda for Ireland. The match is televised live by TG4 and by Sky Sports.
After this match ends don't forget that in Springfield at 7.30 Mullingar Shamrocks play Garrycastle in the Westmeath junior football championship.
