LGF Under-14s defeat Delvin/St. Pauls

Mullingar Shamrock 3-8 Delvin-St Pauls 2-4

Our Under-14 girls secured a hard-fought win against a determined Delvin/St Paul’s side played in Clonmellon on Thursday evening. We struggled to convert our scoring chances in the first half despite having plenty of possession. We went in at the break ahead 1-3 to 1-2. We were much improved in the second half; our work rate and intensity went up a level and despite losing a player to a yellow card we continued to convert our scoring chances.

This was a great team performance.

The girls demonstrated all the hard work that they have put in over the last number of months. This performance will give the girls great confidence for the remaining games . Final score: Shamrocks 3-8 to Delvin/St. Paul’s 2-4
