New York Intermediate Football Final …

Mullingar Shamrocks also sends best wishes to the footballers of the Westmeath New York GAA Club who play Manhattan Gaels tomorrow (Sunday) in the New York Intermediate Football Final.

The throw in is at 10.00 pm (Irish time) and can be viewed live on the New York GAA Facebook page.

The Westmeath lineout includes ex-Mullingar Shamrocks players Gary Moore, Darren Moore (one of those chipped on the run pick-up goals would be worthy of any final) and Dylan McDermott who unfortunately is doubtful due to injury. And of course, John Moore is a key man who over several years (even decades!) ensured that Westmeath was a force to be reckoned with in the world of New York GAA.
