Mullingar Shamrocks fielded two teams in Killucan on Sunday. In the Div.3 tie Killucan came out on top on a 2-9 to 0-9 scoreline. In a high scoring Div. 5 contest that featured Shane Colleary’s return to active service, Mullingar Shamrocks outscored the home side 2-11 to 0-13. The 2-1 scored by Mark Shaw was the standout feature of this game.

Our Under-14 LGF team had a great match with Shandonagh on Thursday night and earned a well-deserved draw with a goal scored with the last kick of the match. Our Div. 3 LGF team were unlucky on Friday night losing out to Moate All-Whites II by the minimum margin in another high scoring outing (4-7 to 1-15). On Sunday evening in Kinnegad our Div. II team had six points to spare winning by 3-13 to 3-7. We lined out the following team: Sinead Sweeney; Annemarie O’Reilly, Liveta Lazauskaite, Sophie Hegarty; Susanna Buckley, Melek Fagan, Chloe Swarbrigg; Emma Morris, Laura Whitelaw; Clara Thornton, Cliodhna Spellman, Casey McDermott; Alison Bane, Micaela O’Connor, Jasmine Haugh. Also: Shona McNicholas, Jagada Bartosiewicz, Orianna Quinn.
