Six week coaching block completed

Last week brought to an end a six week block of online training sessions with our Under-13 to Under-17 girls and boys. Every week large numbers joined in to take part under the guidance of our various guest coaches. The real success of this was the way in which our own senior players gave up their free time to prepare and deliver the sessions in a very professional manner. A huge word of thanks goes to Daragh Daly, Brendan O Reilly, Denis Corroon and Patrick Fagan. Initially, we also got great assistance from Westmeath Coaching and Games Development Officers, in particular Bernie Corroon, who provided invaluable advice.

Finally thanks to our players, their parents and team mentors who all assisted greatly in the smooth running of the weekly sessions These sessions will certainly prove beneficial when we can get back on the pitch again.
