The Alan Moran Memorial Cycle takes place on Saturday 7 May. The gentle giant Alan was a former player with Mullingar Shamrocks whose sudden death last year shocked us all. His  friends and work colleagues are oranising the memorial cycle to honour his memory and his love of fitness. The cycle starts in Edenderry and will cover two routes (40k and 90k) to cater for all levels of ability. The first group will depart from Edenderry at 10.00. Participants sign on at St Mary's Secondary School Edenderry from 8.00 am on the morning of the 7th May.  On line registration is available at www.eventmaster.ie and a special personalised jersey has been designed for the event. Many members of Mullingar Shamrocks will be participating and the cyclists are scheduled to arrive in Springfied at 11.30-11.45 and will stop for a refreshment break.
