Under-6 Blitz ...

Saturday morning was another great occasion in Springfield as Mullingar Shamrocks welcomed St Loman's and The Downs for an under-6 blitz. Plenty of firsts with a lot of players making their Shamrocks debut and would you believe every game was a draw. Most important every player got plenty of touches and great fun was had which is key for this age group. Big thanks to Pat Collins and Tom Earley for getting everything organised for the day with pitches etc. Róisin, Shandel and a great catering team organised a superb spread in The Clubhouse and made certain that children and parents were all looked after brilliantly. Thanks to all coaches, mentors, players and officials who made the day a very special one with numerous stars of the future on display no doubt.
