Our Under-10s ventured to Tyrrellspass on Tuesday to take part in their last Go-Games Blitz of the year. The standard of football was high from all teams with Shamrocks performing brilliantly in their two games. All the attributes of a confident side were clear to see from the lads particularly from possession play as they looked up and found their teammates excellently. There was also some magnificent scoring displayed throughout the games with veterans Ted Aherne, James Ryan and Declan Newman (who moves to Under-12 next year) leading the way with superb long-range point scoring. However, the point score of the night must go to Kevin Kelly who landed a monstrous long-range effort over and the Goal of the Season must go to Conor Walsh. The young maestro expertly fielded a long high pass on the turn and without flinching sent a thunderbolt into the top corner of the net.
