The Joe Matthews Memorial Tournament ..

Lakepoint Park was all-business this morning for the Under-10 Joe Matthews Memorial Tournament, a fitting tribute to the host club's great servant. Mullingar Shamrocks were there in force with two teams in action against The Downs, Garrycastle, Shandonagh, Tyrrellspass, Ballycomoyle and St Loman's. Some great footballers on view from all the clubs in Lakepoint Park ... and no one went hungry. Well done to the coaches who have devoted their time so willingly and the parents who turned out to support the young stars of tomorrow.
