Under-8s Blitz …

Shamrocks under-8s played their third blitz of the year on Saturday morning last when we hosted St. Joseph’s and Coralstown-Kinnegad. Over 40 young Shamrocks players togged out and a fantastic morning was had by all. The main pitch was in majestic order and Pat Collins and Tom Earley had the various pitches lined out perfectly. Every young player from all three clubs gave their all with no sweepers to be seen and tactics were left on the dressing room floor. M. J. Burke, Jamie Timoney, Scott Farrelly, Emily Maguire, Anna Orenczuk, Pau Dooley, Conan Kelly, Darragh McCabe, Adam Clinton, Sam Sheerin, Ryan Keaveney, Alfie Rock, Fionn Ledwith, Conor Matthews, Shamrocks’ Cian Traynor, Conor Glynn, Ribu Chempavanthy, Killian Hand, Christy Joyce, Carl Keane, Sean Dooley, Oliver Keane and Zach Gilbride were particularly impressive for the hosts on a memorable morning.

Under 10s Blitz …

Under-10 Blitz in Tyrrellspass with over 30 players togged out. Athlone, Tyrrellspass, Millmore Gaels and St Mary’s Rochfortbridge were also there and some superb football was played by all concerned.
