Brian Willoughby Book Launch …

Best wishes to Brian Willoughby on the launch of his book Guardians of the GAA which takes place on Friday night in the famous Copperface Jacks in Dublin’s Harcourt Street at 7.00 pm. The launch will be conducted by Eddie Brennan and Aidan O’ Mahony. The book details the contribution of the Gardai to the GAA at inter-county level and those featured include Mullingar Shamrocks players Gerry Nohilly and Killian Daly. Brian is a good Shamrocks man and his son Matthew has represented the club at all level of underage football.

All are invited to the launch.

Goodbye Michael, Goodbye …

We have lost two good men in the recent past as Willie Keeley has taken up employment with Westmeath County Council and on Wednesday night Michael Healy took care of his   final AstroTurf booking. Michael has been managing the Mullingar Shamrocks Fitness Centre and AstroTurf facility since December 2014 with hawk-like efficiency. We wish Michael the best of luck in his new residence in Carrick-on-Shannon and Wille in his new employment with the County Council.
