Meet the Dancers (9): Marie and Aiden ..

The M & M - Marie and Mugsy - Show will be revealed in all its glory on Saturday 12 May when Marie Kiernan and Aiden 'mugsy'  Mullingar take the stage at The Park Hotel to Waltz to the tune of See the Day

Kilbeggan-native Marie, a sale’s assistant in Alo Gowran’s Furniture and Carpets, is not just a dancer and would challenge any of her fellow contestants for fitness. Marie is a keen walker who has completed three marathons and in 2017 completed the 800Km (this is not a misprint) French-Spanish Camino in just three weeks by walking and cycling. Needless to say Marie, who is married to Seán and is mother to John and Áine, enjoys keeping fit.  Her dancing partner Aiden wouldn’t be as keen on maintaining this high level of fitness. Aiden is one of Mullingar’s best known personalities and for the past twenty-two years as joint proprietor of the Spiced Bean he has been supplying his customers with high-quality coffee and delicious food.  Mugsy isn’t a novice in the dancing stakes and in 2011 performed in the LARC fundraiser Chancin Irish Dancin and back in the day his father Martin was chairman of Mullingar Shamrocks.

The M & M Show has the potential to be spectacular on 12 May.
