ACL. Div.5: Castledaly 2-11 Mullingar Shamrocks 3-4.

Mullingar Shamrocks began their Div. 5 campaign in Springfield on Sunday against Castledaly and despite the goal scoring of Nathan Smith (a spectacular effort in the opening minute), Dillon Matthews (also a spectacular effort) and Óisin Dolan (a tap-in) we ended on the wrong side of the scoreboard after dominating the second-half. We failed to register this dominance on the scoreboard and a late goal by Castledaly and a few points secured the victory.
