Last Man Standing
The stewards will be going in to conclave during the week as all five runners in our Last Man Standing competition fell at the final fence. Dublin, Limerick, Armagh and Kildare failed to deliver for their pundits and only Leitrim, Cavan and Clare justified their selection for the final outing. Niall O’Dowd was the first casualty when Armagh surely the day’s banker lost out to Wexford and Eunan Martin went soon after when Antrim defeated Limerick; Seán Hynes suffered a double hit when Kildare and Dublin went under. Marie Madden and John Cunningham also had their prediction bubbles burst when they pinned their faith in Dublin. The stewards will make their final decision when the powers-that-be decide what happens the un-played matches
