Bursary Presentation in Portlaoise
 
Tye Adamson received his Leinster Council Bursary for the academic year 2017-2018 at a presentation ceremony held in Portlaosie on Monday night. Tye is a student at the DIT and was a most deserving recipient of such a bursary, awarded for both Tye's playing ability and his overall contribution to the promotion of the GAA.

Thirty-nine bursaries were awarded on the night which brough the GAA's contribution to the scheme since 2008 to just over the €2 million mark.
