Message from the Forward Planning Department …  The Australians and Santa Claus are coming in December …

Santa Claus has been in contact with the Forward Planning section of the club (it’s open for business!) good and early this year and has informed us that he will be in Springfield on Sunday 10 December and has asked us to give an advance notice to all the parents and players of his arrival. He was in direct contact with Roisín Masterson who is the chief organiser of the party. More details will be available later … keep an eye on Facebook.

Santa Claus also asked that the club organise a change of reindeers when he arrives in Springfield and Murty Ryan has agreed to organise for this to happen. Expect some black and amber ones …  

It’s going to be a busy week for earlier in the week Mullingar Shamrocks will play host to the touring Australian Wanderers touring GAA teams on Tuesday 5 December when our Under-17 and Under-15 teams will play the visitors in two Gaelic football matches. There are 44 boys aged between 14 and 16 on tour making up two teams for which we will be supplying the opposition.  The tourists are also playing Lucan Sarsfields, Monaleen GAA, London GAA and Skerries Community School on Tour.
