Pride of place this week goes to Darragh McCabe, the winner of the Leinster Scór na nÓg title in Summerhill, County Meath on Saturday. Darragh’s singing of Only Our Rivers Run Free was superb and won the vote of the judges in the Amhránaíocht Aonair( Solo Singing) competition. Darragh qualifies for the All-Ireland final which will be staged in Monaghan on 25 January. 

 

We also congratulate the other Leinster title winners from Scór Iarmhí especially our neighbours The Downs who qualified for the all-Ireland finals in Aithriseoireacht, Nuachleas and Rince Seit and Tráth na gCeisteanna. We were delighted to see Scór Iarmhí qualify in Bailéad Ghrúpa (Moate All_Whites) & Ceoil Uirlise (Bunbrosna Scor) also.
