Under-10 Blitz in Ballinagore

Our under-10's played in a Go Games Blitz in Ballinagore on Tuesday night. We fielded 3 teams and all players played all the time in both their games in keeping with the principles of the Go Games Concept. Our teams played Lilliput Gaels, Maryland/Tang, Castledaly, Tyrrellspass. The lads competed very well in all games and showed how they are progressing in the basic skills of kick-passing, shooting, tackling and especially blocking. They also showed great team spirit and an ability to battle against some physically bigger players ... A great bunch of lads.  Barry Maguire, Ollie Keating, Tony Sheerin and Paul Aherne were the ones providing the positive encouragement.
