Another champion Saturday morning in Springfield. Several of our under-16 county champion Ladies football team called down with their cup and the young people training availed of the opportunity to examine the piece of silverware and some practised lifting the trophy for future reference. These things are important.
The good-vibe factor in Springfield on Saturday mornings is massive and the exercise, the fresh air and the fun can only be good for all concerned. The task of moving a football from hand to foot and making a connection can be a difficult one for a six-year-old but finding an answer is great fun. Any parent reading these notes and looking for a Saturday morning summer activity for the young person(s) in the house are welcome to come down to Springfield between 10.30 and 11.45.
