The end of the school year means awards are presented  to those who have excelled during the academic year. We congratulate Callum Rigney Clyne and Sophie Russell on their Sportspersons of the Year Award for MCC Secondary school. 

We understand that Sophie has the boots ready for the big comeback when the Leaving Cert exams are over and out.

Meanwhile at the Sports Awards Night of Coláiste Mhuire Mullingar, Mullingar Shamrocks were well represented not least by Shay Leavy  who captained the Brother Hubert Cup winning first year football  team and Ty Masterson who captained the Leinster Under-16 A champion football team.
