Mullingar Shamrocks at the heart of the comnunity ...

Watching the under-14 girls match on Tuesday evening one could not but be aware of the extent to which Mullingar Shamrocks is at the heart of the town's community. The amount of activities taking place was staggering: a large crowd attending Orintha's Pilates Class, people coming and going to the Fitness Centre for their daily work-out; several groups on the walking track; camogie teams and football teams using the Astro-Turf facility, the club's under-16 footballers engaged in a training session, and our under-14 girls' football team in competitive action. Truly wonderful.
