Rose and Noel Flynn rarely missed a Mullingar Shamrocks event back in the 1990s when Bernard was such a key player for the club. Rose is fondly remembered as a wonderful lady and she enjoyed many a Mullingar Shamrocks football and social occasion. In the days when we went travelled to the continent to honour our achievements, Noel and Rose were wonderful travel companions. And, of course Rose’s grandson Billy has also worn the Shamrocks jersey with distinction and was a member of our senior title winning squad in 2018.
