ACL Div.1:  Mullingar Shamrocks 0-17 Athlone 1-8.

Mullingar Shamrocks continued with their high scoring form in the ACL Div.1 with another impressive performance against Athlone in Springfield on Sunday evening. At the interval Shamrocks led by 0-11 to 1-0. Tye Adamson opened the scoring for Shamrocks with a fine point and this was followed by 0-3 each from Ciarán Curley and Dylan McDermott; Seanie Daly knocked over three frees and Paddy Joyce contributed 0-1 to the first-half total. The Athlone goal was scored early in the first-half and put the visitors ahead for the only time in the game.  Ciarán Curley added three more points to his total in the second-half, with Seanie Daly (0-1), Billy Flynn (0-1) also contributing before Aaron Purcell completed the scoring with a fine individual effort.
