ACL Div. 2 Mullingar Shamrocks 1-8 Ballymore 0-11.

A last gasp equaliser from a superb  free kick awarded for over-carrying proved costly for Mullingar Shamrocks in this ACL Div.2 match played in Springfield.  Ben Maxwell was the man with the golden boot. Trevor Keena notched 1-1 in the opening ten minutes to set the stage for a possible victory but Ballymore recovered and at the interval the sides were level. We had our chances and might feel as this was a missed opportunity to add to our League points total but  Ballymore will have a similar mind-set. It’s great to be competitive in the ACL Div.2 with our second team.
