'A high octane show ...'

'A high octane show from start to finish with some of the most spectacular choreography seen in Mullingar' was the comment of one observer who was present at the first full rehearsal for The Sound of the Musicals staged on Monday night.

Patrons are guaranteed a fabulous night's entertainment at this big budget music, song and dance extravaganza with production values of the highest order. Director Shane Barkey has prepared no less than 80 original mini screen videos to enhance the singing and dancing of the 120 talented cast members who will perform in the seven mini-musicals, each of roughly fifteen minutes duration. In the running order of the night, these are presented by Team The Greatest Showman, Team Mary Poppins, Team The Commitments, Team Les Miserables, Team Grease, Team Chicago and Team Mamma Mia.

Many of Mullingar's most talented stage performers and finest voices will feature as well as some potential stars of the future and it is a special source of pride to have so many members of the Mullingar Shamrocks GAA Club directly involved.
