Mullingar Shamrocks had good victories against Coralstown-Kinnegad (1-8 to 1-7) in the Under-12 League and against Shandonagh (5-18 to 0-3) in the Under-14 Championship but our Junior team were outplayed by The Downs in the Junior Championship (3-20 to 1-10), a defeat that eliminates the club from this particular championship.
