One of the men who made Mullingar Shamrocks great will be remembered when the Tommy Lennon Memorial Under-10 Go-Games Blitz is staged on Sunday at Springfield. It is a fitting way to remember Tommy who spent so much of his time promoting under-age football in Mullingar. Sixteen clubs from Westmeath and surrounding counties will take part. The football starts at 10.30 am and will end at 3.00 pm. And yes the legendary Shamrocks hospitality will be evident as usual.
