Less than 72 hours to go for the BIG reveal for The Sound of the Musicals.
Check in to the Greville Arms on Friday next at 7.30 where the names of the 7 musicals which will form the core of the club's LIVE entertainment EXTRAVAGANZA to be held in the Mullingar Park Hotel on Saturday, 28 September. This is the night when the 7 WONDERFUL mini-musicals to be performed in the show will be announced along with the LEAD STARS in each show along with the cast members for each musical. A cast of close to 125 has been assembled and have auditioned for the show and the result of Shane Barkey and his teams deliberations will be known in just over 72 hours time.
The mini-Musicals to be performed remain a closely guarded secret until Friday evening.
Could Cats be performed?
Maybe Hamilton (the musical, not Johnny and Denis Corroon's old rock group) might make its Irish debut!
What about The Phantom of the Opera? Maybe Les Miserables
Boogie Nights sounds promising. Debbie Does Broadway sounds even better ..
What about Miss Saigon? ...
Aaron Purcell would really rock in Jersey Boys ... but we'll have to wait until Friday night to find out
One thing's for sure, you wont find the like of this show on Broadway or even the West End itself!
