The Late Mary Fennessy Matthews ...

Mullingar Shamrocks executive and members were saddened to learn of the death Mary Fennessy Matthews, Grange Heights, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Naas, Co. Kildare. Sympathy is especially extended to her sons, Martin, Jason, Kenneth, Freddy and Keith, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Mary reposes at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4.30 pm concluding with prayers at 7.00 pm. Mary's Funeral Mass takes place on Thursday at 10.00 am in Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery.

Mary is granny of Mullingar Shamrocks senior player Dillon Matthews whose brother Conor is learning his football trade with the club's Under-10 squad whilst sister Katie plays with Mullingar Shamrocks LGF under-12 team.
