Mullingar Shamrocks executive and members were saddened to learn of the untimely death of Emer Groonell after bravely battling illness for the past two years and offer sincere sympathy to Emer's family and friends. In particular sympathy is offered to Emer's beloved partner Paddy O'Hora, her sons John and Ross Bagnall, daughters-in-law Raksha and Anureet Bagnall, grandson Benjamin, brothers, sisters, relatives, neighbours and friends. Emer is sister of Ailish Gavin and sister-in-law of Davy and auntie of Kieran and David. Emer's support for Castlebar Mitchels, Mayo and Mullingar Shamrocks never wavered and Emer was present in Cusack Park last October proudly proudly and stylishly wearing the green and white headband cheering Shamrocks to victory wearing the club colours cheering Shamrocks to victory in the county final. Emer reposes in Lawless' Funeral Home, Mucklagh Village this evening from 5pm until Rosary at 8pm. Private Removal on Wednesday Morning to arrive in the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore for Requiem Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Clonminch Cemetery, Tullamore.
