Mullingar Shamrocks to present The Sound of the Musicals ...

The news is out; we have a Date, we have a VENUE and we have a SHOW.

Following the huge success of last year's Strictly Shamrocks, Mullingar Shamrocks are proud to announce that their 2019 entertainment and fundraiser will be The Sound of the Musicals. With the talent available in Shamrocks it's the perfect show for the club.

This year's event is in conjunction with ClubFundraiser.ie. and will be produced by Shane Barkey. The date has already been pencilled in and The Sound of the Musicals will be staged on 28 September in the Mullingar Park Hotel. This is a show with a difference and will be a FIRST in the Mullingar area. On the night, eight abridged versions of famous musicals will be performed LIVE on the main stage by eight teams.

Once every mini-musical has performed there will be an awards' ceremony where the best performances of the night in the various categories will be awarded.

The night promises to be an all singing, all dancing extravaganza and it might even be better than last year's spectacular Strictly. An information and open audition night for budding Broadway stars will take place in May (more details and information to come)
