Mullingar Shamrocks executive and members offers sincere sympathy to the family of the late Elizabeth Bracken, Dunville(R35 YT95), Rhode, County Offaly and in particular to her sons and daughters Tony, Brendan, Patricia (Carter), Kathleen (Keyes) and Nicholas, to her brother Tommy, her grandchildren, her extended family, relatives and friends. Elizabeth reposes at her home today (Tuesday) from 2.00 pm with removal at 6.30 pm for arrival to St. Peter’s Church, Rhode at 7 pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 2.00 pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The Carter family have a long association with Mullingar Shamrocks and Patricia has been a stalwart of the club's Thursday night's Bingo since its inception.
