ACL Div.5: Mullingar Shamrocks 3-10 St Loman's 1-16

The curtain was drawn on the 2018 season on Sunday morning at Springfield when Mullingar Shamrocks hosted St Loman's in the final game of the ACL Div.5. Both sets of players are to be complimented for their dedication to the cause and while we are dishing out the compliments we should not forget the ground's men as the Springfield pitch was in superb condition despite the heavy rain that fell in the previous few days. Mullingar Shamrocks thanks to two goals from Dublin All-Ireland medallist of 1995 and still going strong, Robbie Boyle held an interval lead of 2-6 to 0-6 and a Shane Colleary goal immediately after the restart sent Shamrocks into a nine point lead. However St Loman's were not finished and outscored Shamrocks 1-10 to 0-4 for the remainder to earn a deserved draw.
