The Late Rose Longworth ...

The death has occurred of Rose Longworth, sister of our President Detty Cornally. The club extends its deepest sympathy to Detty and her sisters Ita and Mary and to the members of the Cornally family. In particular, sympathy is also extended to Rose's son Joe, daughter Áine, grand-daughter Dara, daughter-in-law Joan, son-in-law John, and to the members of the extended Longworth family. Rose reposes in Rooney's Funeral Home, Ballymore on Saturday from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 2pm in the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Ballymore. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Rose was an institution in the world of Westmeath and Leinster Scór and the trips to Ballymore will never be the same without 'Rose Longworth', as she was always referred to by Detty, being present.
