The Late Tommy Lennon ...

After days of great joy and celebration, we received on Wednesday evening the sad news of the death of Tommy Lennon, a great Shamrocks clubman, supporter and fundraiser. Tommy died in Cluain Lir where he had been hospitalised for some time and where he renewed acquaintance with the Flanagan Cup last Monday morning where Eddie, Ned, Shane and Micheál paid a special visit to the nursing home to bring the good news to Tommy that the county championship had been regained by his beloved Shamrocks. The news brought great joy and tears of happiness were shed by Tommy in what transpired to be some of Tommy's final hours ... RIP Tommy Funeral details later
