It was with great sadness that Mullingar Shamrocks members learnt of the death of Vincent Keating of "Lia Fáil", Moor View, Athlone. Club and executive members offer sincere sympathy to members of Vincent’s family and especially to his wife Breeda, sons Fintan, Oliver and Pádraig, daughters Yvonne and Stephanie, daughters-in-law Rosemarie and Áine, sons-in-law Louis and Aidan, brothers Colm and Gabriel, sister Lourdes (Gleeson), sister-in-law Madeline, brother-in-law Bert, grandchildren Conor, Wasini, Oisín, Fionn, Enda, Paul, Maria, Barry, Ronan, Cillian and Eva, nieces, nephews, and members of Vincent’s extended family and friends.

Vincent reposes at Flynn's Funeral Home, The Strand on tomorrow (Saturday) evening from 3.00 pm until 6.00 pm. Requiem Mass in Our Lady's Queen of Peace, Coosan Church at 1.30pm on Sunday with burial afterwards in Tubberclair Cemetery.

Oliver Keating has made a substantial contribution to the Mullingar Shamrocks club since moving to Mullingar from his native Athlone and Vincent’s grandchildren Maria, Enda and Paul have worn the Mullingar Shamrocks jersey with pride and distinction.
